Dabangg 3 is an upcoming movie in December 2019 which will be theoretically released in India on 20 December in Hindi. which will have action and comedy, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salam Khan and Arbaz Khan under their banner of Salman Khan film and Arbaz khan production the movie is a part of the 2012 movie Dabangg 2 and the third part of the Dabangg movie series, the screenplay of the movie is written by Salman Khan, Prabhu deva and Alok Upadhyaye the story of Dabangg 3 is set in the state of Madhya Pradesh, the movie cast Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaz khan, and Mahie Gill reprising there role from the previous movie while Sundeep plays the antagonist

Development
In 2014 during the promotion of Dolly ki Doli Director Arbaz Khan confirmed that the Dabangg 3 will be coming and its production will start soon he said that it has been out of the box idea, only then we will be thinking of converting the idea into film, Dabangg 3 will not be about the idea of carrying forward the movie series but something very different, In March 2015 Arbaz Khan said that he might not direct the movie Dabangg 3 due to the high workload of being a producer, actor and director. In April 2015, Arbaz Khan said that the film might take up to one or two years to form up as it was postponed due to sultan After much waited in August 2016 it was confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha will be part of Dabangg 3 and another actress might be part of it, later in that month it was reported that Kajol was offered the role of antagonist, but she refused to play it as she told the media her role was not as strong as that of Salman khan
In October 2017 it was reported that the writer had started scripting the film and workout on the script would go live for production by the mid of 2018, in the following month it was confirmed by Arbaz khan that Prabhu Deva would be directing the movie, and he will look after the creative control, As on March 2018 Prabhu deva confirmed that he will be directing the movie and Salman Khan Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaz khan will portray their earlier respective character, Sajid Wajid will again compose for the movie soundtrack, on 31 March 2019 Salman and Arbaz arrived in Indore to begin Shooting for Dabangg 3 from 1 April.
Filming
On 31 March 2019, Salman and Arbaz reached Indore ( part of the shooting take place in Maheshwar Near Indore ) to start the shooting of Dabangg 3 from 1 April.

Salman Khan revealed first posters of Dabangg 3 with film release date on 26 April 2019. Before some months of filming, Dabangg 3 was said to be slated for release on May 22, 2020, coinciding with Eid-ul-Fitr. But when it was announced that Inshallah, another film starring Khan, was scrapped the release date of Dabangg 3 was advanced to 20 December 2019, coinciding with Christmas.On 11 September 2019 with 100 days remaining to release of the film, motion posters were released in four languages Hindi, Kannada, Tamil & Telugu.
A fifty two seconds introduction teaser was released by Salman Khan Films on 1 October 2019. The trailer was released on 23 October 2019 by Salman Khan Films on its YouTube channel.
